'Resident Evil 4' (NGC/PS2) Coming to PC

PCGamer's rumor column suggested that Capcom might be bringing RE4 to PC, which was fueled by this online retailer list, scheduled for March 2006. Earlier today a Capcom community admin confirmed that RE4 was indeed on its way but would be a 3rd party product. So far this has only been confirmed by Capcom Europe, not North America (thanks Petr). Capcom also recently brought Onimusha 3 to PC through a third party, so this isn't much of a stretch.

In Resident Evil 4 players are reacquainted with Leon S. Kennedy, Raccoon City Police Department抯 idealistic rookie cop from Resident Evil 2. It has been six years since the destruction of Raccoon City and in that time, the U.S. government has been able to destroy the nefarious Umbrella Corporation. Fast forward to 2004 and players rejoin Leon, who is now a U.S. agent with a top-secret mission. He has been tasked to look into the abduction of the President抯 daughter and his investigation has led him to a mysterious location in Europe. As Leon encounters unimaginable horrors, he must find out who or what is behind everything.

国外游戏站点Novinky报道，来自PCGamer（UK）杂志消息Capcom将2006年发行《生化危机 4》（Resident Evil 4）PC版本，而这款游戏已经列到了一个英国在线销售网站，预定发售日期2006年3月26日发售。

　　而Capcom社区管理员今天确认这款《生化危机 4》正在制作中，并且是一款第三方产品，到目前为止这只是Capcom（欧洲）确认此消息，而Capcom（北美）并没有发表评论，估计这条消息有可能属实。

不过...老CAP的话恐怕是再也没人信了,从当年DC上的维罗尼卡到NGC上的生化危机4好象都说过本平台独占,结果......现在离谱的是生4不但出了PS2版连PC版都要出了....

今日太平洋游戏网向上海育碧了解到了独家的内幕消息：CAPCOM的AVG名作《生化危机4》在经历了PS2移植之后，将再度传出好消息，该游戏的PC已经确认。并且该游戏的国外发行权将由育碧公司全权代理，而国内方面也正在进行暴力度和血腥度测试，可能的话游戏的暴力场景会有所删减并且血腥度还会有所降低，以确保该游戏对青少年没有负面的影响(-_-||)。 如此血腥等级国内能不能通过还是个问题呢? 　　以前，PS2版《生化危机4》就120%移植了GameCube版的全部完整的内容，并且游戏还增加了一条Ada的流程。PC版也将完全保留，并且依靠PC的机能力求描绘出更加细腻逼真的游戏画面。 　　另外在网上购物网站play.com也发现了《生化危机4》PC版的预定页面，价格是14.99英镑，预计今年3月31日上市。 在国外《生化危机4》已经预售了 　　前不久《生化危机4》就被太平洋游戏网的读者们就票选出成为了最希望被移植的家用机游戏，没想到美梦真的成真，PC版真的就真的来到了我们的身边。而关于国内代理方面的消息我们也在积极与厂商沟通，力求在第一时间向玩家通报好消息。希望对该游戏感兴趣的玩家能继续关注太平洋的后续报道。
